The grouting process can be tricky but it is the process where you transform your piece into something really beautiful. Here are a couple of pointers before you get started:

• Wear an old t-shirt and cover your work surface with paper or plastic.

• Don't be in a hurry, give yourself plenty of time to do it right.

• You want the grout consistency to be 'like peanut butter'. 

• Do not wash your hands, ring out sponges, empty your tubs or excess grout down the drain. Use an outside spicket.

• Do not try to speed up the drying process by sticking in front of a heater or outside in the sun. It could cause the grout to crack or become discolored.
